PBCB Studios was founded in 2004 by husband and wife team Christin Ciaccio Briggs and Paul Briggs. Their formal
training includes BFAs in Painting, Design and Illustration from Kansas City Art Institute. Additionally, Christin studied
Painting and Printmaking at the University of Brighton in England, and Paul has worked in the animation industry for 14 years.
Paul Briggs: Animator
and Story Artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1996. In his latest project, as Editor of a graphic novel anthology
series, he is teaming up with fellow artists to launch their third book at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con. The book will feature
over 20 leading story artists, animators and directors in the animation industry.
Christin Ciaccio Briggs: A dedicated gallery artist since the mid-90s, she has exhibited her paintings in galleries
and museums across the U.S. Her work has been featured in New American Paintings and Studio Visit Magazine. Her recent artwork
has naturally evolved to include textile, print and pattern designs.
Based
in Los Angeles, California, PBCB Studios is their
main hub where they paint, draw and design lovely cool things. They are available for free-lance design opportunities
and are always interested inspirational collaborative projects.
